About
The Gorzycki Middle School band strives to live by our school’s motto: “excel today, lead tomorrow.”
Since the school’s opening in 2008, the GMS band has consistently performed with a high level of musicianship and has earned a reputation for excellence in the greater Austin area. Our performing ensembles have earned superior ratings at UIL Contest, spring festivals, and have been invited to perform at state and national music conventions.
It is our sincere hope that students in the Gorzycki band develop a lifelong love and appreciation for music and continue making music long after they leave our campus. We have a place for every student in the GMS band!
